While
collector quality saddles can be made to a customer's specifications,
clients often prefer to allow considerable freedom in the design process.
Work usually proceeds based on preliminary sketches, a fixed (or flexible)
budget, and a 25% deposit when work begins.
The following photos show a selection of high quality Stormes saddles
that
are in private collections. Several of these saddles were made for
the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association exhibition, which opens on the last weekend of September each year
at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
